Happy Sunday!
Happy Sunday and Happy Father's day to you all! It’s time for us to show some extra love to dad. My dad likes to drink whiskey or mixed drink so I today I will create a drink for every special occasion including Father's day. It has been a little while since my last post as I have been a bit busy.. I have been involved with planning "The Bite Me Pre-Pride Party Event," of which I am co hosting. It will be held on next Thursday June 23 at Bites Asian Tapas and Sushi. For this event I am collaborating with the restaurant to create tasty food and specialty cocktails. It is fun to create drinks with my favorite liquor. Thank you to VodQuila, Savile and Owl’s Brew for sponsoring this event. This “Pinkelicious” recipe is a fun mixology cocktail, inspired by the dance and fun party mood from the many many Pride celebrations across the world. Chicago celebrates their Pride Parade very significantly each year. They have fancy parade that marches on street by street with thousands of people watching and being involved in this fun celebration. With rainbow flags flying high everywhere, people will dress up fancy to celebrate this fun time together. In light of the sad news from Orlando that occurred last Sunday, I would like to share how deeply sorry I am for what happened. Sending all my love out to the tragedy victims, to all their families, and to all their friends, and communities as well. The Bite Me Pre-Pride Party have decided to donate some of the proceeds of ticket sales to supporting Pulse for the Orlando Victims Fund. If you would like to donate you may do so through One Orlando Fund or BITE ME Pre-Pride page. I hope you have a nice weekend! Thank you for reading, Natty
