"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas"- I started to sing this song after Thanksgiving. This holiday definitely is one of my favorites holidays throughout the year. Christmas is a magical time filled with love, peace, and joy. All the decoration are being put up in each house, restaurant, shop, and every corner of the streets. Everyone is creating their own holiday spirits, no matter what it is gold, glitter, red, green, white, etc. Everything comes together as one to make Christmas a special time. What about you? What is your Christmas theme this year? A shimmering holiday in silver and gold tones with a touch of red and green, that is my theme this year. While I believe in the holiday spirit, I also believe that it is important to get my body ready for a big feast, including the drinks. Even though Christmas time is the time to indulge in sweet pastries and drinks, shall we not get our bodies ready so we can indulge without guilt? I have to make sure that my body is nourished on a daily basis for this holiday season which is filled with all my favorite tasty treats. Get into the spirit this holiday without no guilt! This "Thick Green Christmas Smoothie Bowl Recipe" is lightly sweet, luscious and creamy, filled with all kinds of vitamins and minerals our bodies need on a daily basis. For this special time of the year. I am partnering up with my friend Ben Rifken, to create a beautiful video with Ben's magic. This video will show you step by step how I make my unique smoothie at home. This is a gift from me to you, wishing you all have the best holiday season, and Merry Christmas filled with love, joy, cheer, laughter, and health with the ones you love. Directions: In the blender mix frozen banana, pineapple, orange juice, green apple, flax seeds, wheat grass powder and spirulina powder. Blend all ingredients until smooth, about 1 minute. Put a little love and magic into this bowl by slicing a green apple then cutting out different shapes with Christmas cookie cutters. My favorite shapes that represents the Christmas spirit are the gingerbread man, star, and Christmas tree cookie cutter. You can also use different shapes to cut different kind of fruits. I used a Christmas tree cookie cutter with kiwi. Feel free to create your own style to match what is good for you. Decorate with fresh fruit, nuts, and granola as so your Christmas bowl is inspired!
