This spaghetti dish is truly amazing with it's juicy shrimp in this rich tasty garlic butter sauce and topped with fresh parsley. This Garlic Butter Shrimp Spaghetti Recipe will quickly become a staple recipe in your kitchen because this dish is so easy to make and tastes delicious! This recipe can be made using whatever pasta you have on hand at home. Even if you have Fettuccini, Angel Hair, Ravioli, Penne, Genelli, Cannelloni, Fusilli, or just about any other kind it will still be tasty!! This is so easy that you can prepare it in under 20 minutes at home with only 8 ingredients and after that 20 minutes is up you will have a comfort dish that you can enjoy with a glass of wine and your favorite TV show or movie. **If you don’t have heavy cream on hand or if you don't eat dairy you can skip it!!! Instead please add ¼ cup of pasta cooking liquid reserved pasta water. Here is the recipe you will need to make this delicious comfort dish at home. Garlic Butter Shrimp Spaghetti Recipe
INGREDIENTS: Half box of spaghetti, prepared by following the instructions on the box 1 pound medium shrimp, deveined Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into cubes 4 cloves garlic, minced ¼ cup of heavy cream p ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley DIRECTIONS: In a large pot of boiling salted water, add a dash of extra virgin olive oil and cook pasta according to package instructions. When draining the cooked pasta save ¼ cup of water for those who don’t have or aren't using heavy cream. While the pasta is cooking, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Next add the shrimp and cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until pink and slightly opaque, about 2-3 minutes; sets aside. Add heavy cream (or reserved pasta water) to the pan, scrapping the little cooked bits off the bottom, and let it cook down for about 2 minutes. Stir in the cooked Spaghetti, and Parmesan, making sure the sauce has evenly coated all of the spaghetti. Add the cooked shrimp and toss together. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
