Whole30 Approved Homemade Turkey Meatballs Recipe
Author: NattayaWorrakitpoonpol YIELD: make 27 meatballs PREP TIME: 25 MINS COOK TIME: 15 MINS TOTAL TIME: 40 MINS Ingredients 1½ lbs. ground turkey meat 1 egg ½ medium yellow onion (finely chopped) 4 cloves garlic, finely minced ½ teaspoon of sea salt 2 teaspoon of black pepper 2 teaspoon of dried oregano ½ cup of fresh parsley, finely chopped 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil Directions In a large bowl add ground turkey, egg, yellow onion, garlic, dried oregano, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper, mix all the ingredients well. Wrap plastic over the bowl and keep in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. After refrigerating for 20 minutes, take a bowl of meatball mixture out, using a small ice cream scooper, scoop the meatball mixture, and use both hands to roll them gently, making sure they are round. Repeat the process until all of the meat mixtures is gone. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with extra virgin olive oil. Gently place the meatballs in the skillet, cook the meatballs until they are browned on all sides and cooked through for about 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through with an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
