This is my first year attending the Sweets and Snacks Expo. To be honest, I was totally overwhelmed by how many people and vendors were there. I left with so many samples from so many different vendors. The best part is I got to meet founders of the brands and companies whose products that I have been working on recipe for my blog with their product. To get to know them better in person was such an honor. The most exciting part for myself was to interview Joy Bauer from The Today Show. She is one of the nation’s leading health authorities, the nutrition & health expert for NBC’s TODAY show, the founder of Nourish Snacks, and the official nutritionist for the New York City Ballet. Nourish Snacks and Joy also just rebranded with cool new packaging and a reformulation of ingredients, shapes, and tastes. I am such a fan of her blueberry, apple, and coconut vanilla granola bites. The next best part is I got the chance to meet the founder of Dang Foods company and Tropical Fields Crispy Coconut Rolls.
Here are some of the featured brands from the expo broken down into the sweets and snacks categories. Sweets : In honor of this first year that I have attended the expo, I have created the "Sweets and Snacks Expo Cake". Natty Sushi Easter Eggs are here and right in time before EASTER! Sushi Donuts are all the trend today, but why don’t you make it special for Easter day? And a wonderful way to celebrate is by shaping sushi rice with a Easter Egg mold and decorating with black & white sesame seeds, cucumber, salmon or tuna, colorful tobiko, and avocado. I am partnering up with Shiawase Restaurant to create this special “Sushi Easter Egg” for the Chicagoan to try. This creative idea can be more fun by more selections of different toppings and stuffing inside with these 4 amazing kinds to choose from.
Now sushi easter eggs are popping up all over the city of chicago Instagram. Please be sure to go and get some before they are gone. Celebrating this special holiday I hosted a special "hands-on" poke sushi Easter Egg making experience class at the Shiawase Restaurant for some instagrammers to get more creative and have happy some fun before the real Easter Egg hunt begins. These are some of the pictures from the event. Happy Easter Everyone!
As always, thank you for visiting my site and reading my article, Natty Stir-Fry Cashew Chicken is easy to make and tastes way better than takeout! This sauce is full of flavor and contains just the right amount of heat.
I have so many different kinds of nuts in my pantry. The main reason for this is because I make a smoothie bowl every weekday morning. The purpose is for my Instagram account, => @nattyspantry <= check me out, and follow me if you haven't followed me yet. You will get 269 smoothie recipes all year long. I love to add cashew nuts in my smoothie bowl as the topping, make some healthy granola with them, or create something good that I am having a craving for. This Stir-Fry Cashew dish is the first answer I think of when I see cashews. This dish is one of the famous in Thai cuisine. However, a lot of Thai food has influence by local Chinese cuisine. This dish is prepared in the Chinese way, I would say similar to Kung Pao, because of the main ingredients made up from the nust, chili, onion, and green onion. But the stir-fry cashew is a little sweeter than Kung Pao, and uses fish sauce for the flavor and taste. Note for the recipe: - This recipe requires fish sauce. If you can't find it in your local Asian grocery, you can use oyster sauce or regular soy sauce. Please be sure to add only half of the sauce recipe required for the taste; then you may add more if you need it. As always, thank you for visiting my site and reading my article, Natty |

"You love someone, you open yourself up to suffering, that's the sad truth. Maybe they'll break your heart, maybe you'll break their heart and never be able to look at yourself in the same way. Those are the risks. That's the burden.Like wings, they have weight, we feel that weight on our backs, but they are a burden that lifts us. Burdens which allow us" Bones Don't wait for the perfect moment, take the moment and make it perfect. - Zoey Sayward- Archives
